Lisa Hanfileti is a Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc) and East Asian Medicine Practitioner (EAMP) with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Lisa is Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and an active member of the Acupuncture Business Academy. Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, Lisa received her Masters (MA) Degree in Biology from Boston University where she specialized in research in Reproductive Endocrinology. After moving from Boston to Michigan and finally to Vancouver, Lisa spent 5 years working in the field of Assisted Reproductive Technologies; First at Arbor Park Reproductive Medicine Associates (Ann Arbor, MI) and later at OHSU & Northwest Fertility (Portland, OR). Lisa worked as a Laboratory Technologist specializing in Embryology and Andrology and became interested in the (often unaddressed) influences of mind, body, and spirit (including stress, emotions, and beliefs) on infertility.  Her exposure to acupuncture and Chinese Medicine began when she tried it in 1995 because of chronic headaches and insomnia.
